"The Importance of Good Notation"
- What is the value, according to Whitehead, of a good notation system? What does he think is to be gained by a good notation system?
- List at least five (5) good notation systems you can think of that do what Whitehead says a good notation should do.
- A notation system, in order to be effective, should have certain characteristics. Whitehead mentions one. What is it?
- Can you think of any other characteristics a good notation system should have to make it more effective?
